yet the end of another wkend..... a busy wk has passed.. closer to ord by 7days alr! hurray! learnt SAR21 handling tis wk.. next wk will be going to the range for firing.. hope to pass :)
nuff of ns matters, went out wif some sec sch guys aft booking out frm camp.. met wif bren for movie at amk hub.. watched the "Dark Knight"
the movie had this dark atmosphere arnd it, which fitted the image of the batman rather appropriately. other than the usual cool gadgets and tough buckling action, the introduction of the joker was the highlight of the show.. heath ledger gave the performance of his life in this show.. sadist and erratic, the fear factor of his portrayal pawns any "evil nemesis" out there. the sole disappointment of the show has to be the downfall of harvey dent.. harvey 2-face was a great villain in the comics and cartoon series, tho nt as great as joker, penguin but, still nt like a pathetic madman seeking for revenge on behalf of his dead fiance and kill ppl wif a pistol.. tho i mus admit, the special effects makeup / animation of his "half-face" was preeeeettttyyyyy good.
went to meet ric and the some sec sch mates aft tat.. managed to join for a game of pool (which i buried white balls again) and played lan wif the guys... BF2, CS and dota.. of which, i tink my team oni won in bf2, tho we got pawned in all the areas, we "by luck" managed to kill all of the opposition team and capture all the flags.. played as a medic, u see.. so i was riding arnd in my safety rover.. hahaz.. so fun. dota, my heroes were all early gamers.. so i cud pawn the opposition early on, budden cant win late game one.. sian. oh well...

went out wif gl jus now.. met at safra tamp.. originally for bowling.. but siannn.. today the orchid bowl there got some weird tournament, hence dun haf space for us.. went powling at the safra billiard room instead.. played abt an hr.. 5.50 nia.. nt bad laa... white ball go into hole de king sia.. both of us.. altogether got like 13? then countless amt of white ball dun hit ball one.. mus improve! :)
watched hancock afterwards @ century sq.. 9.50 sia! so ex! nt bad la, the show... yet another show abt flawed superheroes.. i guess viewers r suckers for this kind of shows.. hw we can relate to them, and sympathise.. human-ify the almighty hero.. doesnt go more than this as hancock can get injured as well, as shown later in the show (in certain circumstances).. heartwarming.. tho, the movie's oni failure is probably the lack of a "supervillian" to complement hancock.. the biggest enemy for hancock was himself, internal struggles, search for his self identity.. nt bad la.. closing soon tho.. catch it while u can! :)

the time has come for my weekly blog updates again! hurray?
this week quite happening bahzz... rather short week if u asked me.. monday was jus like yesterday and the day itself jus zoomed past like nth.. mus be the live-runs and the busy-ness of our branch in recent wks..
well, had a branch cohesion in midwk.. considering that i had missed 1 cohesion in may and another armour event in june.. this is quite impt to me... went to makan at some "indon chine" themed restaurant.. buffet lunch, budden looks and tastes EXACTLY like our vry own sungei gedong 1330hrs cookhouse free-for-all.. didnt eat tat much.. nt exactly appetizing but the sole consolation was the "air polluting", "cancer-inducing" pot of chocolate fondue. (they used SOLID FUEL the heat the chocolate lor!!! alot of pungent fumes!!!) nt bad laaa... until our dear dennis went to order another one.. lolz..
made our way to safra mt fab aft that by bus.. sorta late cos we took our time a little.. bowled there.. my first ever experience wif bowling.. nv bowled b4 in my life sia.. always been a spectator nia.. ignited my interest in this.. scored a freaking low 30pts in my first game.. LOWEST IN THE WHOLE GROUP SIA!!! sia suay like dunno wat.. long gang king lor! oh well.. managed to get the hang of it in the 2nd round with some advise frm mr "andrew" and sherm.. scored a respectable 99 pts.. pity didnt beat the 100pt mark.. but alr beat a majority of the idiots who were laffing at me, considering that the highest avg pt scored by the leading team was 80+ liddat nia.. i ought to be rather proud of myself! (enters a state of self-praise and bhb-ness)
had a 15km run at East coast on friday afternoon... exhausting and tiring.. but feels good aft the run.. sense of accomplishment bah.. 17km is next! lol.. abit sick aft the run... but mainly due to dust allergy more than anything.. was clearing stores on friday morning.. exposed to alot of dust.. spent ytd recuperating.. gg out wif gl later for movie :)

hmm.. back frm the SAF day thingie at president garden there.. :) ate quite a bit.. nt bad laaa... budden alot of ppl.. and pressurizing cos mostly is officer and big shots la.. saw minister of def and the president.. nice.. shook his hand also..

back after 1 day of guard duty... nt tat bad larr... took 1st shift (mainly cos arrived abit late and nt tt kiasu to snatch spots) 3rd and 4th prowler.. did 1hr of gate/vehicle duty.. kinda a discount for the extra rounds that we wud haf to do next day..
the night shift was quite eventful laaa... the gc was quite scared of doo, cos warrant officer... budden is ahq de.. quite okay guy.. :) budden we paid back with our vigilance.. hahaz.. caught a WIDE OPEN gate lor... wtf rite? unattended somemore.. hahaz... lucky spot fast seh.. last someone come in, but i oso dunno what they can do inside.. everything is locked one.. lol.. free frag for us maybe?
nt bad a nite.. managed to sneak some winks.. morning oso manage to rest abit more, cos the Gc decide we dun nid go prowl.. cos gt enuff ppl out alr.. lol! damn shiok, for a 24hr duty. :) happy happy. also got my "accessories" for the no.5t uniform for tml.. tuanged at hm the rest of the day..... :S

hmm... today.. took ippt... so sian!!!! fail one station tis time.. pts still ok... O.o failed my SBJ!!!!! 4cm to PASS! URGHHHHHH!!!!! SAVE ME!!!!! tink i got too fat and sat arnd too much last mth alr laaaa... now the effects is getting on my nerves! TRAINING TIME! lol. oh well... if only.... ahh.. actually today abit sick and tired one... budden... ok laaaaaa.... try lor... i didnt noe i can make it so CLOSE!!!! if nt, i ytd dun train so much alr! URGHHHH!!!!!

hmm... reaching the end of the wkend.. somehow abit sad... end of my break.... tml back to camp liao.... haizz..... hopefully nt another day of staying back late bah?
oh well.. this wkend nt bad laaa... ytd went out wif ric and his gf in the morning to amk hub walk walk plus lunch. lunch at kfc.. tried the new salsa chicken wrap thing.. reminds me of the bandito which is now defunct. was supposed to go out wif gl in the afternoon for movie, but kena ps so nua-ed at hm for the rest of the day... watch tv and anime.. slpt well last nite too..
today, i went swimming at hougang swimming complex there.. alot of ppl... irritating.. esp the kids... sometimes wonder hw their parents keep them in hand or even at all? well... had my 30laps, so i quite happy liao... rest of the day nua at hm again lor, including a good full 3hrs nap on the sofa... can say i wasted the wkend but i tink it was a gd rest for me.. haven had tis kind of rest for 1 mth liao, cos ovl was more abt making full use of every single bookout instead of sleeping thru it.. still wanna watch hancock and the "promises to dog show"... anyone?

ahh... got back to gedong liao....... life's nt tat great bah... been working overtime two days in e row since i got back alr... haizz.... haven gotten any off for my burnt wkends either.. haizz.... lacking of slp too... big big headache now... feel like reporting sick tml.. budden... all those work... cant leave to other ppl to do.. urgh...... wat to do? urgh...

hmm... finish my duty at vl alr :) quite happy to haf seen the last of nee soon camp for a long long time... mus haf been my lucky day ytd... the pdf ppl came over and said they were gonnna take awy the sensor vehicle and tat means NO AIR CON!!! poor next shift... nt my prob anymore!! haha! and then was supposed to be kena arrowed to do the qrf for last nite... oso quite lucky... the officer helped me get out, reason being i was there for 1mth alr, let those 2wks one do... eternally grateful man... :) hehez. ok la, i oso helped daniel they all fought for the extra day off from mp br.. so nt too bad to them bah.. hahazz... managed to catch a lizard on the second last day of ops.. as big as my forearm lor! so big!!! gave to keith.. dun wanna bring back, later my mom freak out lor!
went out wif a fren today to walk walk and watch movie.. nt bad a day.. watched "zohan" at cathay.. nth mus to critique abt ba.. pretty lame a show.. funny at times, but sometimes the humor, cant quite get it, mus be an american thing? tix quite cheap oso.. then hor, oso ate carls junior, the mushroom burger.. now so bloated! getting fatter and fatter... :( tml back to gedong liao... see how bah... hopefully...........
