SIA LAR JI GUY ESCAPED!

according to the "latest" news, SOMETHING BIG HAS HAPPENED! and no... i am NOT referring to the edison chen scandal.. (wun comment on it, primarily becos i am ed too and we both share the same surname..) Apparently whilst all of us were waiting to "knock off" frm work, a Jemaah Islamiyah leader (JI) by the name of Selemat (reminds me of selemat hari raya.. no offense to my malay broz, but the name hardly strikes fear into ppl given his reputation as a JI leader..) managed to escape from whitley detention centre.. he escaped whilst toilet-ing.. which is like... woah! i bet he mus haf planned this for a while.. enuff for him to stage the perfect escape.. Apparently, this man is supposed to be super dangerous and tried to bomb mindef and changi airport..
Security has been tightened, as we now get to see more police officers and gurkas all over singapore.. esp places with high pedestrian flow.. sort of reminescent of singapore's reaction to the london & madrid bombings aftermath... however, i feel that tis is oni to "calm the public" and ease the tenseness of the situation.. well, with a madman on the loose, the last thing the govt wud wan is an adverse public reaction to the event bah? anewayz, with the govt putting police and army on the case.. i guess its a matter of time b4 he is arrested..
till the day he is arrested. i guess army checks wud be more often bah? SECURITY STEP UP!!!
