back from hk le... ok now.. time to start updating.... in overall, quite a good trip la.. except for some bits here and there.. mainly due to the tour and stuff.. pictures are on facebook. shant put too many here cos it will lag the blog's loading time, which is nt good!
04/12/08: Departure from S'pore to HK
11am flight from spore to hk.. but went to airport at 8 cos needed to check in earlier.. not bad la.. the plane ride itself was quite short oso, a little over 3hrs. :) managed to catch HellBoy 2 on the plane's entertainment channel.
not bad a movie i guess (its free anyway :) )nice fighting scenes and realistic makeup effects on the actors. guess i mus catch hellboy 1 too :)
anyway, reached hk at abt 3plus, 4pm.. then made our way to the hotel in kowloon (freaking 1hr plus ride from the airport..)
04/12/08 night: Night tour around HK
settled dinner at some restaurant.. had a mix of the diff dishes in hk also.. (abit chapalan tho.) the roasted duck was gd too. (ultimately, i wud go on to eat roasted duck for 3 days in a row..)
Then we moved on to a hill top area for Madam Tussaud's Wax Musuem. Its this really famous wax museum will all the famous ppl in showbiz, politics and history.. ppl r jay chou, beatles, aaron kwok and even MM Lee are all in there.. pity jackie chan was a "pay to shoot" figure.. cant take wif him.. the most iconic celebrity in hk leh.. oh well, visited all the others and the experience is actually nt bad.. there is even one with a heartbeat... andy lau!

Gu Ju Ji.. seems he is quite popular in hk.. his posters are all over.. :) his wax figure is also vry realistic..
We then moved on to Xing Guang Da Dao at Tsim Sha Tsui.. nice and cool place wif palm prints of famous HK celebrities of the past and present. didnt take much pics there cos there were many ppl and the lighting wasnt vry good..

We then went on a open top bus ride on Nathan Road, to Ladies Street.. a refreshing experience, quite cool to see signboards zoom pass ur head. all e pretty neon lights :)

didnt shop much at ladies street, went over to "sports goods" street instead.. spent my first HK dollar! bought a white nike jacket for 309hkd which is abt 60 bucks.. quite cheap, i guess. and also a nike ronaldinho barca shoe (he has moved on to ac btw, hence the lack of demand).. the shoe was a cheap buy, less than 300hkd.. actually wanted to buy a puma shoe.. but dun haf my size, really pretty too.... black wif golden design oni 229hkd, slashed from an original 500+.. haiz. was pretty late aft i bought the stuff, we had supper and then went back to hotel..
