aching all over..

ache ache ache.. the aching finally kicked in i guess? shoulder ache! backache! dunno y, but i usually haf this weird "disorder" (if u must have it put that way), when i haf a gd workout, the first day, i normally wun ache much or wat.. but the second day, POOF! everything comes knocking.. weird.. but useful, cos i can train two consecutive days :)
oh well, i guess stretching does work, cos my leg muscles r quite alrite.. jus the joints abit crinky i tink.. nid to rest :) but whats hurting me is my upper bod.. darn shoulder, neck and upper back.. super ache! guess there aint any "stretching" routines for those areas eh?
went swimming abit today.. 30laps :) ok la.. slow and steady pace.. relaxes the body too.. came out feeling quite refreshed.. met up wif gl at tp also, since he going off quite soon liao.. shot some hoops and went to makan at biz sch's "cutlet one" western food.. miss 1st yr sia.. the "cutlet one" uncle.. too bad he passed awy liao.. i guess the female boss also didnt carry on, saw new owners of the stall bah.. maybe relatives, maybe not.. the menu seemed to haf changed, as wif the cooking methods.. maybe i shud really haf gone design sch instead? or perhaps mensa? budden oso no guarantee that its open bah.. at least most of the other stalls look the same.. as wif the looks on the students' faces, mugging for their exams.. i think to myself "i was once like that, eh?".. but my time will come again.. next yr this time i may be looking back to june 2007 to june 2009.. thinking back abt tekong and armour, and wat a cool life it was: eating, sleeping and exercise.. cheers to NS, i guess?

"Cyborg She"

today went out to watch movie.. "Cyborg She", a sci-fi movie abt a guy who met this girl of his dreams on his bday 22/11/07 (my bday! omg.. and he is the same age as me!!) .. they spent one night together and that was it... he waited one whole yr b4 a cyborg who looks exactly like the girl appeared.. apparently, it was sent by the future-him to save himself frm several paralysing and life threatening events, as well as fulfill his un-finished dreams/business, which included a timetravel back to his childhood hometown, saving ppl frm certain tragedies, etc.
in one final "episode", she saved him frm certain death in a tokyo massive earthquake.. all he managed to salvage is part of her body, taking almost 60 yrs to rebuild her... before he finally breathed his last... 70yrs on, a girl identical to the cyborg comes across the cyborg and buys her "memory chip" in an auction, implanting all her feelings, memories into herself, in curiosity.. she was touched by the memories and decided to go back to 2007 to look up the guy.. turns out, she was the vry same girl who first started all these... after the same "string of events", the girl leaves the guy in the same circumstances (now in the girl's point of view).. she is touched by his love for "her" (cyborg/girl) and hence she appeared to him right in the aftermath of the earthquake and it ends happily ever after.. THE END.
rarely do i type a full story, but tis is an exception.. quite a beautiful story.. unique too.. but, abit the "japan fanboyish" kind of movie.. almost otaku-like.. saw the preview of japan's F4 movie.. nt bad too....

ran the army half marathon today.. tiring.. but rewarding.. slpt at 9pm on sat and woke up 4am today.. my dad fetched me to the padang area and reached abt 5... wah the place super muddy lor.. my sports shoe chui.. lucky i nv wear my own one.. wore the army one.. hahazzzzz... cant clean, then can throw awy.. can buy wif emart credit.. lolz... met up wif the rest and left our bags wif leo.. was a gd run for the first 15-16km.. able to keep pace wif sherman and several armour ppl.. then came the horrid "reclaimed land" route.. really the "knnbccb" (rarely i swear but this is really too much).. as if it wasnt humid enuff, they made us run thru wet and humid foresty area wif bumpy roads... some parts r so soft that ur foot sinks in.. whereas, some areas, i tink we r jus flattening the tar road for them.. totally dun make sense oso.. the winding curving path is oni 2km? took me almost 20min to navigate through... whereas, the previous 1km parts oni took like 6-7min.. nt to mention all the upslopes and downslopes.. irritating... urghhh!!! ok la.. the waterpoints are our sole relief.. got bananas, and 100plus or water... usually the crowd there wud be long bahzzzz...... didnt manage to catch any armour waterpoint tho,heard frm a fren it was on the 10km route, nt the 21km de... sianz. ok la... in the end, with aching muscles, abrasion in the lower midsection, and thumping headaches, the run was quite a good achievement i guess... tho i wun do it again liao.. maybe up to 15km bahzzzz.... or at least till i train up abit more... cheers.. only going back to camp on tue :)

went out for movie last nite at cineleisure.. watched "meet dave".. not bad a show, i mus say.. a great comedy by eddie murphy.. good for relaxing but storyline is abit flawed, geared too much towards a happy ending, following a "sure-win" formula of comedy movies.. nth too special, no surprises either.. just something to pass the time..
watched "the Love Guru" online.. nt tat great a show.. nt realli worth watching in a cinema.. nonsensical and sometimes u wun be able to catch its jokes.. lots of sexual reference as well, cud be offensive to some.. hmm.. but in overall, if u r a jessica alba fan, shud watch ba? support her first film in a such loonnngggg time since getting married with kids.

ahh.. went out ytd for kbox, till today throat abit the "sore".. still haf guard duty tml.. hmmmzzz...... mus hang on, last of the guard duty for my mth of august.. hope next mth 42 can take over then dun nid do so many liaoz... more ppl to share! had a nice "tea" (comprising of tim sum frm hongkong tea cafe).. been so long since i last had dim sum lor... used to haf it quite often wif my parents and my aunt.. those steamed buns, ghor hiang, crystal dumplings, gou tie, siew mais and of cos my fav thing of all, char siew shu.. didnt order char siew shu ytd but was great aniwayz.. quite cheap oso.. compared to those my aunt used to eat.. dinner was great too, at MOF Bugis.. heard got one open at CCK as well.. can go try soon!!! haha. dinner for me, was teriyaki bento.. typical jap flavour but the sauce was something special.. but the highlight of the meal had to be the desserts.. shared a redbean "dunnowhat" and a mango "dunno what"... both damn nice... pity i sorta forgot the name as soon as i finished the meal.. but the flavour will nt be forgotten.. esp the mango dessert, leaves a sweet tingling taste in ur mouth coupled wif the natural sourness of the mango.. the sauce was also perfect... wif the ice and vanilla icecream topping, absolutely heavenly! great for any sweet-toothers (like me.) to others, there are still many other dessert options to explore.. so what ya waiting for?! faster go eat at MOF! lolz.

wooo!! 09/08/08~! NATIONAL DAY! hurray! pub hols for me to rest.. tis time last yr, i can rem, booking in on this night, to see "fireworks" frm tekong.. tis yr can see the ceremony on tv! yay! somemore, got long wkend :) happy.. but sometimes still miss the tekong experience.. quite enjoyable.. 43rd birthday of singapore liao.. no plans for today.. everyone seems quite busy bah... oh well... nuah at home lor..
watched "Made of Honour" ytd on vid.. quite a nice show.. romantic comedy i should say.. abt this guy who flirts and haf casual sex with other gurls who has this long-time best female buddy.. they r both attracted to each other but nothing really develops until the girl leaves for scotland on a business trip.. as they say, absence makes the heart fonder.. the guy realises this and decides to "confess" to the girl on the day she returned, oni to realise that she brought back her new fiance from scotland, who is really the perfect guy in every aspect.. the lead man then becomes her "maid of honour" for her wedding and tries to sabotage her wedding from within..
pretty much a normal movie... no real breakthroughs, but a good movie to watch with ur loved ones to pass the time.. the producers should really have showed more scenery scenes of that in scotland.. maybe can up to must-see factor of the show..

SAR21 trained! woohoo!

hmm.. this wk.. pass quite fast bah.. finished my SAR21 training alr.. now fully qualified to fight a war wif the gun.. the gun looks like this.. abit of review on this.. compared to the m16, tho it is heavier (by abt 1-2kg), the overall stress on the user is equal if not lesser, thanks to its compact, otherwise known as "bullpup" design.. the firing is smooth and being a rather new gun, doesnt malfunction as often as the hardy m16.. equipped with a 1.5x scope, it is easier to aim and hit ur desired targets.. and not to mention, it has a laser-sight which is vry useful in close quarters and night combat. also, the translucent magazine used allows the user to easily see if there are any rounds remaining. the main grouch abt the rifle has to be its lack of ambidextrixity (can oni be fired using the right hand).. luckily, i am not affected, cos i am right handed! but those poor lefthanders...
took off on wed and went out for a movie.. watched "money no enough 2" at Gv marina.. quite a nice movie.. funny and close to the hearts of singaporeans.. vry "updated" on the current happenings of singapore, namely erp and the mlm "bullshit".. bowled abit too.. nid more training! anyone? :)
lastly, went out wif my sec sch cca mates ytd.. met up wif tat wee, ric and jy at hg mall for brunch.. wah seh, all late sia.. i gong dai dai waited for 1/2hr be4 ric came.. followed by tw and lastly mr jy who arrive a whooping 1hr30min late =.=" had brunch at kfc.. the variety value meal lor.. brings back memories, yrs ago the variety value meal was a ZINGER lor.. now left become a shrooms nia.. all like shuo sui liao! went to ps aft tat.. tw left, oni got me jy and ric.. wanted to catch a movie but machiam no slots.. so played lan instead at parklane there.. dota!! i kinda sux in it. . kena pawn quite abit.. then des came and jy left.. played somemore, then bren joined us.. had dinner at bk aftwards.. hmm.. ps-ed the ahq guys and didnt go to brewerks cos didnt feel like staying out too late, and they sure play till kinda late one..
today, tuang at home!!!! sleep sleep sleep... next wk maybe cant slp at hoome so much lor!!!! ahq guys shud noe wat i mean!!! haha!
