this wk... was at another camp for training for my "vocation training".. sorta kenah tua-ded when i brought everything to camp on monday when the thing was "postponed" to wed due to some "admin lapses".. ok bah... wed was mostly lectures.. and hardly approached the vehicles at all.. only managed to touch the veh on thur and fri, and even so, it wasnt alot.. nt very excited as the vehicles are probably as old as my parents... rundown and in need of real maintenance.. as publicly known, the force is more concerned abt appearance than anything, so the outshell is probably the only thing that looks decent.. the inside, quite "lok kok".. learned how to setup the signal set and operate some basic controls on the driver's panel... no actual driving yet tho... tho, i tink next wk cud haf bahz...
well.. spent today quite idly... didnt go swimming today, cos woke up too late bahz.... abit tired... nt that much sleep.. sobs.. went out wif gl to b-ball at tamp in the afternoon... nt that bad lar... one yr liddat nv realli touch the ball alr... alot of the skills oso buang alr... quite fun, and sweat alot.. afterwards, went to buy my "L torch" and "jack knife" at the army store nearby for the wk's training.. also got myself a nice shirt from the john little pasir malam sale.. weird la, oso dunno why they got pasir malam sale one... somemore, no john little in tamp lor..
see bah... this next 2-3wks gonna be quite tough, mentally (kena fk by instructors) and physically (tank operation, mounting) bah... gambatte to myself!

After e meal, went wif ric to go bukit batok to fetch his girl from MI.. wahz, now MI is so far and left 1 nia... rem my time, it was at the serangoon/eunos area.. and got so many of them aroundz, now left one sia.. anywayz, his girl is tis young sporty chick.. nice personality lar, frm the way she converse, ric is a lucky dude man, hope it lasts... =)
anywayz, saw alot of ric's extended family at the chalet, nt bad lar... hear b4 abt them but first time get to see them lorz.. was an "okay" party i guess... much can be said abt the atmosphere during the cake-cutting ceremony tho.. budden, perhaps sometimes, its the thought that counts bah, esp to ric.. being there for him was alr gd enuff?
well, stayed over and tonged the whole nite wif them.. drinking and playing card games (for e record, i still am vry against card games, mahjong and gambling and tis is an exception for the bro whom i haf known for 14yrs.).. ok larz, got one not-bad looking girl amongst his other grp of frens, but seems to be targeted alr by ric's other fren bah?

really nice song...

lower body training: - rope skipping - squats
Cardio: - 15min of 60;120 cycling - 30min 5km run

Movie: Sky of Love
Posted on: Sunday, March 09, 2008 Posted at: 3/09/2008 06:50:00 PM
[Extract from Cathay.com.sg] Sky of Love is adapted from the hugely successful cell-phone novel that moved 11 million to tears. After losing and then retrieving her cell phone, attractive high school student Mika begins to receive calls from an anonymous admirer. A summer-long phone romance leads to an eventual meeting with cool guy Hiro but their happy days soon pass as trouble is on the horizon. [Extract from Cathay.com.sg]
Watched this wif bren ytd.. really a touching movie.. tho the storyline is pretty cliche.. It starts as the girl reflects on the stuff that happened b4 whilst returning home.. the girl who doesnt fall in love, lost phone.. guy found it, leaves it for her at the lib then they call each other throughout the summer break.. Eventually falling in love with the other person whom she has nv seen b4.. they go through tribulations like jealous ex-gf, premarital pregnancy and subsequent lost of baby due to miscarriage.. Afterwards, the boy left the girl without any reason, breaking her heart... A new guy, came into the picture, caring for her and even proposed to her.. but still she cudnt forget abt the first guy.. so much so that when she learnt that he had left her cos he contracted cancer, she rushed back into his arms.. (poor 2nd guy eh?) well.. The movie is an emotional rollercoaster, many many touching moments, one to be shared between couples (pity i dun haf any..) Highly recommended!!! even if u alr noe the storyline, the acting by the two main leads (MIKA IS DAMN PRETTY!!) as well as the timely interception of complimentary background music, enhances the whole movie experience.
afterthoughts..............
Happy Saturday!

Went out with bren today aft my morning swim.. To catch a movie, as well as to get my "bike trainer" at waterloo str.. Bought my mtb at 75bucks.. not bad looking somemore... but abit "creaky", think nid to oil..
Went to waterloo str to find the shop aft the movie lor.. not instantly find-able, mainly cos it was arnd 1wk+ since i looked at the map of where it was.. But at least i managed to locate the "building" that the shop was in.. had to call up the shop.. lucky i had called them a week before to enquire abt the price (wonders of call history).. budden i was sure which shop was e correct one (as i had called two lor, diff brands! MUST DO MARKET RESEARCH MAHZ!) And "smart" bren decided that it was the one starting wif 6-44something.. So i called, end up it was the wrong one.. so i bullshitted my way thru asking for directions which i didnt need.. (man, I AM GOOD AT THIS!) hmm.. ok lar.. managed to get the right one.. so, not that bad.. budden the thing cost a freaking $295! woahz rite?! ok lar.. the guy was told me it was 280+ over e phone alr.. and the 295 actually included the remote for resistance as well as the "jack" for the front wheel.. nt tat bad if u ask me.. so my total spending for the setup costed 370 T_T The bike trainer required abit of setting up... nt that tough, considering i am kind noob wif tools and i could set it up.. the end result is..............
TADA~!
JAY CHOU CONCERT~!
Posted on: Sunday, March 02, 2008 Posted at: 3/02/2008 03:45:00 PM
hmm.. jus finished watching jay chou's latest concert (taiwan) online.. i haf to say, its quite gd.. sorta made me a jay chou fan again.. The show started with a high energy song, "huang jin jia" frm the movie of the same name.. and continued to wu shuang and of cos, one of his best songs recently, "bu neng shuo de mi mi". After another two songs, then came one of the BEST part of the show, his two solos on a big glass transparent piano.. his two new songs frm his latest album, "zui chang de dian ying" and "pu gong ying de yue ding".. totally ballad..
another one of the memorable moments is when he had a "piano battle" with his fren, from nan quan ma ma.. similar to that in his movie "Secret"..
quite a cool concert la.. would definitely paid to watch if i had the moolah.. but since not, then make do wif online bah.. Click here to watch it!
sianz.. rotting awy at hm.. cos its RAINING! zzzz...
L Movie
Posted on: Posted at: 3/02/2008 03:28:00 PM
Watched "L: Change the World" on friday aft helping out at marina mandarin. This movie is a must-watch, even for non-deathnote followers.. L is super funny with his actions, to the extent of cuteness.. The storyline follows that of deathnote 2, the aftermath of it by which he has 23 days left.. The movie starts with some cutscenes from the original deathnote movies and extra parts revealing L's past. It was an excellent run-in to the emotional aspect of the movie.. where he "immersed" himself into non-stop crime-solving after watari's death and before his 23 days is up.. Then came the main plot of the movie, a deadly virus controlled by a "cult-ish" organization, which is later revealed to be headed by another of watari's protege, K. I shall leave out the details to avoid spoilers but the ending was rather beautiful, showing L's courage, graciousness and love. One side which we hadnt seen in his two deathnote movies (in which he was portrayed as this ultimate genius who has little or no emotions).. The ending wasn't really tat obvious, as L wasnt shown to be dead(just walking awy after entrusting "near" to a school and it ended), perhaps opening room for sequels?
All in all, this is a great movie, must-watch for this season!

THE SECOND BUS DIDNT COME!! so i took the third bus in.. which was like 1hr aft the first bus left.. imagine me standing down there for 1hr.. so sianz!!! at least ok lar.. managed to squeeze in a bit of calorie burning with gym + treadmill + cycling..
