long time no post liao..
keep wanting to.. but keep 4geting sia..
so far lifes been gd.. nt much changes bah...
well some of the movies i haf watched so far:
enchanted: pretty gd fantasy turned reality turned fantasy movie.. gd for coaxing little kids or rekindling those childhood flames for us.. gd plot, gd music, gd casting.
golden compass: nt as controversial as previously thot. the movie is enjoyable, but the author tries too hard to adapt the movie and then the essence of the story is lost.. becoming yet another one of those "books turned to movies for kids" kinda franchises.
.........
ok, went outta gym wif bren ytd again :) (becoming sorta a weekly event.. better than tuanging at hoome and getting fat)
then went off to junction 8 to makan and watch the movie "warlords" (aka TOU MING ZHUANG).. ate yong tau foo.. the vendor seemed to haf changed since N years ago when i went there wif the-one-who-used-to-be-special. the thing is, somehow, all too nostalgic, esp wif the movie being chinese and starring andy lau and jing cheng wu.. nt to be rather gay: but jing cheng wu seems to age beautifully to become more and more yandao, whereas jet li and andy lau becoming like uncle sia..
anyway, back to the plot, its alot better than that of the "flying daggers movie" n yrs ago.. this time its more scandalous wif the 3 sworn brothers becoming generals.. the eldest brother falling in love wif his bro's stead.. hw he betrayed the 4000 soldiers of the enemy who had surrendered to them.. and how all 3 brothers suffered the same cruel fate... haiz.. nt bad a movie.. if u like artsy artsy stuff.. even if u dun, the swooning actors in jing cheng wu, andy lau and jet li wud make it worthwhile..
