AHHHHHH.. went out today wif ric... go shoppingz.. if nt so sian at home.. also, to take advantage of the bloody GST hike.. (if ya didnt noe, it going up to 7% after the new yr, if i nt wrong).. bought almost 80bucks worth of stuff.. haha!

first, a stack of 100 CD for my com! imation brand - > 28 bucks
next, a multi-card reader - > less than 10 bucks.
2 new t-shirts - > 15 bucks
jap to eng dict from borders (courtesy of the borders voucher) - > 24 but got discount, so 22 nia..... ^_^
pepperlunch dinner (ironic?) - > arnd 10+

well.. ok lar.. turns out tll quite slack.. and got lots of company (alot of ppl same lab, same office..).. but still, i wudnt trade my current wif tat.. feel the ppl at ibn quite friendly bahz.. at least, ppl i have encountered so far.. oni grouch, is the admin bah.. kinda slow, but tink they haf lots of impt work to do other than tending to an insignificant little boy boy like me..

anyway, work is okay so far.. gotta pick up the pace.. everyone has finished their proj ler wor~! i am still generating data :( but nvm.. try my best ok ler.. and enjoy myself while the attachment lasts.. esp if they aint gonna extend my attachment.. k bah! time to "orh orh" liao.. (abit early, but kinda been yawning too much in the lab--> sign of SDS [sleep-deprived syndrome, not sodium dodecyl sulfate--> reagent for gel electrophoresis]

ah! finally! the yrp nite is over.. a week of preparation for presentation has finally come to an end.. hahaz.. i am so starved for research! that i almost miss my filtration device.. ouchie.. (nt realli tho.. almost is gd enuff bah?)

jus happy to be able to pull it off lor.. but kinda nice.. got an award for my hardwork so far.. :) jus happy tat dr loh was able to get one too! as well as dr chow! hahaz........... if i can, i wud gif an award to everyone on lvl 6.. hahaz.. but yea.. jus some wishful thinking lor.. aniwayz.. kinda a nice experience.. i dun regret doing it..

oh well, jason cheng becoming a permanent staff at GIS ler.. haiz.. i can, i wud consider.. but nid go NS... haizzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.................................... e dreaded word.. but i guess, shud look forward to it as a time to recharge and experience independence bah... tho, i still haven gotten the letter as to when i gonna enlist.. lol... bren asked me if i wanted to retake my napfa.. somehow i tink no point oso.. cos i failed 3 mahz... jump, pullup and 2.4.. pullup is the worst.. cant even do one.. the rest r marginal.. gonna train on pullup bahzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz... if i can do by january 20 then i go try try my luck at retake lor..... if nt, then prep for e worse!
hmm.. today.. kinda hectic.. oni left e lab at 7.10.. the "thing" is putting alot of stress on me sia.. :( I wan my carefree life! well nvm, at least, the waiting time looks alot shorter when u got ppl in ur lab toking to u bahz... tat i haf to thank philip, jason oh (nt jason wong/tan/pan/cheng/zeng, or whoever other jason i noe who is reading my blog) and to a smaller extent, Ms key-you.

well, tried pepper lunch today.. took a pic of e meal.. *searches for bluetooth adapter but to no avail* well.. maybe next time.. they haf tis realli innovative idea: they serve u RAW (and i mean RAW as in totally uncooked!) meat and veggies on this REALLY and i mean REALLLLLLYYY (jus so tat ppl get the idea) H-O-T black plate thingy. then as u stir ur food (and flip), u see the meat cook right b4 ur eyes! cool eh? then theres the sauces and seasonings u can add to it to add flavour.. i ate a beef steak, but i feel, its quite worth bahz.. cos the beef is REALLY REALLY nice.. nt tough at all lor! and another plus is, THERE IS NO BLOOD! i hate blood on my steaks.. kinda gross and make e steak vry yucky..

and then there the "movie" eragon.. nt bad bah.. considering it was free.. but if u r expecting a LOTR kinda movie.. prep to be disappointed (think tats an understatement), but its great for the whole family i guess, more of a kids kinda movie, wif fantasy and dragons when the hero always wins and gets the prettiest gal or seomthing along that line.. (well, now i noe why they placed the ERAGON book in the KIDS section when i was working at TIMES...)

well, got to see the preview for the SIMPSONS movie.. one of my all time fav "cartoon" (yes i admit, this is a cartoon, BUT Japanese ANIMES ARE NOT).. some other movies i wan to catch: deathnote2, night in the museum.. anyone wan watch, jus call me, sms me or email lor!
yet another boring weekend.. spent my time sleeping (quite a lot), watching anime, tv, playing games and jogging (vry vry little)..

weird how my weekends r spent at home and in the neighbourhood.. guess i wan to compensate for the lack of activity at home during the weekdays (essentially the weekdays r smt like tis: wakeup, go work at 7.30, come home at 7 plus, eat, watch tv and relax, sleep and then continue from wake up again..) oh well, gonna play wif my "precious"(s) (yea.. this com of mine and PS2 :) ).. if nt long time no play= dust accumulate = spoil. (bad excuse to play game)..

*yawnz* tiredzzzzz.... juz got home.. back from movie.. hmm... was supposed to watch tenacious D wif pals.. but ended up watching casino royale.. tho i still dun like daniel craig, i haf to say.. there r some realli nice choreography.. eg, e start whereby the african guy climbed up the contruction site and then jumping off.. vry nice.. tho, the closeup shots of craig almost ejected me off my seat.. (tho the bond babe was actually quite chio =P ) k lar.. now jus trying to find ppl to watch tenacious D wif me! anyone? heh heh..

anywayz, today was e last day of e jc ppl at ibn le lor.. had a nice "last lunch" (farewell meal) wif them, courtesy of our nice mentors.. saw clare and tendy they all at there too.. rich sia.. anywayz, i tink it concludes yet another chapter of my ibn life.. now, time to slack is over! gonna generate some real results, if not i am nv gonna haf enuff data for my report.. hopefully if all goes well, enuff data to gif dr loh a paper and repay ibn lor.. ^_~

well, life's been great so far.. but soon haf to go army ler.. get reminded constantly by the people arnd me.. haiz.. tink i gonna miss school (nv tot i wud say tat..)..
