hmm.. this match.. it was a patient game for england.. seemingly, the wily fox (ericksson) had been keeping his hand. this match showed that, when needed, he can bring on his secret weapons in the likes of lennon, walcott and downing. one may say they r noobs of world cup. budden, u mus see, who noes what they are capable of? no one. so theoritical, this is a smart move to surprise opponents. what ericksson lacks in match play tactics, he makes up for psychological warfare.
hmm.. the match: england was playing e waiting game until lennon and rooney came on. i mus say, lennon impressed me. wif a bit more crossing accuracy, he may be even better than wright philips.. guess this was why ericksson brought lennon instead of e off form philips. 2 late late goals hav almost secured england's qualification into the last 16. making them jus the 3rd team to do so in this tournament.
